This renovation project for an existing Guest house located in DLF Phase-2 Gurugram  aimed at providing new façade to the existing building along with complete change of plumbing and electricity services.

The existing building had several issues; most of the services were in bad shape. Front facade of the building which is facing west side had large windows and balconies that were rarely used due to some structure failure. Also the western Sun was making building hot too quickly and therefore limiting the use of cooling devices.  The existing building also lacked the architectural character.

HDS approached the project with detailed measured drawing of existing building to understand the existing structure and services. Major emphasis was given to protect and enhance the existing structure strength. West side windows were replaced with additional walls along with protection of balconies from west side sun. The new renovated building reflects a straight line contemporary style Architecture.
